Gilbert Arenas’ ex Laura Govan drops grateful message after Alijah Arenas’ safe return

Laura Govan, the ex of former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas shared a message on Thursday as Alijah Arenas was reportedly out of the hospital a week after being invovled in a single-car crash.

“THANK YOU TRULY FOR ALLLLLLLLLLLL YOUR PRAYERS. Although close, it just wasn’t his time. Thank You God For Giving My Baby A Second Chance,” Govan wrote, tagging several family members’ Instagram accounts.

In a statement shared to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the family said that the young Arenas is resting and is “comfortably under close watch” at their home.
